It’s your responsibility to earn more money.

Have you ever heard the concept earn more to give more? If the foundation of abundance is generosity, this makes sense, right?

I want to speak directly to what that responsibility means for the Kingdom of God.

I want to introduce you to a woman in the Bible named Lydia.

Lydia was from Thyatira, a town known for its guilds of craftsmen, especially the guild knowledgeable in producing and selling expensive purple dye.

Thyatira, Ancient Greece

How expensive was purple cloth? It was once 15x more valuable than gold. They say that one pound of purple cloth is worth the equivalent of $60,000 today. Whoa.

Lydia was a member of that guild in Thyatira.

After establishing her business base in the Roman city of Philippi, she meets the disciples in Acts 16 and as a woman who worshipped God, her heart was opened and she and her household were baptized.

The apostles went on to stay in her home for a time. And in her large house she began what is known as the first Christian church on Greek soil, welcoming other new believers into the fellowship of faith.

If I know anything about wealth, I know that it can be used as a tool to fund & support the Kingdom in ways that are beyond our imagination.

Imagine funding an organization that takes care of persecuted Christians or helping to establish churches in faraway regions of the world?Or supporting Christian organizations working to end human trafficking?

All of it is possible with you when you have more money to give.

  • Joanna, Susanna and Mary Magdalene likely provided practically and financially for Jesus’ Ministry.
  • Pheobe was a financial patron of many.
  • Cornelius continuously gave alms to the poor.

What do they have in common? They used their means to fund the Kingdom.

If you’re an entrepreneur (or desire to be one), you have a responsibility to be successful.

Your financial success means that you will have the means to fund the Kingdom in the same way that Lydia, Joanna, Susanna, Mary, Pheobe, Cornelius and many others did.

The more money we have in our camp, the more we can distribute to and for the mission of God.

When I sold Travel Noire, I was in an entrepreneurship group that began to incorporate philosophies that centered around false idols, new age techniques (yoga, crystals, manifestation) and other occult activities.

Safe to say, that was my last year with them.

Zim, who you learn from is important. And I’m on a mission to show you why.

Over the next few months, we’re going to go deep into entrepreneurship for the Kingdom and what I’ve been building (and how I did it).

You’re going to want to invite your friends to join the email list here (we’re 15k people strong).

It’s going to be so good.
